Constance Katelaris
Dr Katelaris is Professor, Immunology & Allergy, University of Western Sydney and Senior Staff Specialist at Campbelltown Hospital and has a busy private consultant practice consulting on all aspects of allergic and immune disorders in children and adults. She is convenor of the Graduate Certificate in Allergic Diseases, the first postgraduate course in the Faculty of Medicine, Western Sydney University.
She is ia past president of the Asian Pacific Association of Allergology, Asthma and Clinical Immunology and the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy. She has held executive positions on the World Allergy Organisation Board and served on the board of the Asthma Foundation of NSW for over a decade.
Prof Katelaris was a principal investigator on an NHMRC partnership grant for the Auspollen project and is a principal investigator on a number of clinical trials in severe asthma and Hereditary Angioedema. She has a broad experience with monoclonal antibody treatment in various allergic diseases.
